Is Office 365 strictly a web based deal like Google Docs, or can you install local Microsoft Office applications also?
And here is a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado with some kind of strangulated big block engine.

You can install it locally like normal MS Office....personally I think Office 365 is a bit of a sham for anything but offices
. You can buy a completely normal version of office for like...$140, so why people don’t do that and instead get 365
and pay half that year after year after year is beyond me...

You can install local applications. And you need to: the we b ones don’t have the full capability.

As I would’ve expected. Thank you.

365 is free for students and my 18-YO daughter needs it. I am perfectly happy with Office 2007, TYVM.

Yup, I have 2007 on my Win10 desktop and I use LibreOffice on my Linux laptop.

But the base Office 365 Education doesn’t come with the offline suite, it’s web-based only. Have to step up to A3 before Office Pro Plus is included.

It’s the different tiers they have for Office 365. It’s a paid tier.
